Sardinia
The Italian Peninsula offers a huge variety of beautiful beaches to choose from. Among the best ones, there is the region of Sardinia (one of the two Italian islands). Well known for its beaches and cities, it is the perfect place if you want to relax enjoying the sun and the crystalline water.
A special insider tip is the Spiaggia Rosa, which literally means pink beach. It's famous because of the pink sand and, due to the exceptionality of the place, it's a protected zone situated in La Maddalena.
Cala Luna is situated in the east of the isle, and it is considered one of the best beaches in Sardinia. You'll be amazed by the white sand and the transparent water.
Porto Cervo is the famous town for the 'rich people' and full of luxury shops. It's very nice to have a walk in the main square and in the port, where you can look amazed at all the terrific yachts.
Similar to Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo is a more 'affordable' town, where you can have lovely walks at night, and maybe stop by at some of the bars in the streets.

What to pack
In Sardinia you will mostly visit beaches, so the only things you need are your best swimsuit, flip-flops, big sunglasses, protection cream and giant sun hats for the most fashionable girls!
