Grotte di Castellana
Italy is full of beautiful cities and beaches, but if you are an adventurous one, you should know that there is more than skiing! Grotte di Castellana are the famous caves in the Apulia region (the heel of the boot!) and a real insider tip. Since the date of their opening, until today, they hosted 15 million visitors. The site offers a huge variety of tours which will bring you 70 metres deep to look at the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.

There are two tours from which you can choose: the first one is shorter, 1km long and lasts about 50 minutes, the second one is for more curious people, as it is 3km long and will last 120 minutes. Both tours will be guided by a professional guide, so don't worry, you won't get lost ;)

What to pack
During the tour, the temperature will constantly be around 17°C, so take a jacket with you. Comfortable shoes are essential, since you will be walking on an uneven path!
