You may recognize the Canal Saint-Martin from the famous movie 'Amélie' with its iron footbridges. Located in the north-east of Paris, the Canal offers great walking tours and Parisians enjoy many hidden spots along the Canal to relax and drink a good glass of wine.
Close to the Eiffel tower you can find the École Militaire. The beautiful complex from 1752 is serving as a military school and opens during the European Heritage Days, in the third week of September. Furthermore, it offers great riding shows and the Chapel Saint Louis and gardens are worth visiting.

More than 120.000 visitors are strolling between the different stalls each weekend, we advise you to go in the early morning to avoid the masses who come after lunch. The market offers everything you can think of - antiques, furniture, vintage clothing, accessories, kitchen goods and much more!

What to pack
We recommend you to pack both, fashion pieces as well as comfortable clothes. And don´t forget your camera!! Pack comfortable shoes and clothes, as you may walk a lot! Generally the weather is very pleasant in Paris, but winters can be cold! For the evenings have some casual chic clothes like a dress/blazer with you.
